Domestic Leadership

Bidali Henry Sam
Managing Director/Co-Founder

Bidali grew up in a refugee camp in Uganda before earning a scholarship to the University of Juba, from which he graduated with a degree in economics. He is currently the CEO of BC Global Juba where he implements community development programs to develop infrastructure. He is responsible for all executive management and operations of FSFA in Juba.

Bilal Felix Komoyangi
Technical Director/Co-Founder

The most decorated coach in South Sudan’s history, Bilal led the South Sudan national team to many historic victories during his time at the helm. He is now excited to develop the next generation of players with FSFA where he is responsible for all football related activities, from designing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum to overseeing the coaching staff and scouting.

Samson Kalisto
Domestic Liason/Co-Founder

Samson is in referee education for the South Sudan Football Association. His close connection with the SSFA is instrumental in the development and progress of FSFA.

Edward Taban John
Media and Domestic Outreach

Talented musician and multi-media artist Eddy is in charge of all media operations for FSFA

“Doctore,” as James is affectionately known, oversees the health and well-being of all players and staff.

International Leadership

Duach Jock
North American Outreach/Co-Founder

Born into the South Sudanese community of Gambella, Ethiopia and raised in San Diego, CA, the legendary national team player and former Orange County FC standout has earned nearly a dozen national caps for South Sudan, representing the team in World Cup and African Nations Cup qualification matches. Duach is delighted to give back to South Sudanese youth and is in charge of promoting and advocating for FSFA and connecting with the South Sudanese diaspora in North America. Duach attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA where he was standout on the university’s soccer team.

Friday Zico
Australian Outreach/Co-Founder

From the village of Magwi, Uganda where he fled as a refugee with his family, Zico relocated to Perth, Western Australia where he grew up. After a promising youth career at the highest levels of Australian football, Zico earned a place in the South Sudan national team where he has flourished, despite a serious injury. His resilience and positive spirit are what guide him to success–and he is eager to pass those traits on to the next generation of players in South Sudan. He is responsible for promoting and advocating for FSFA and connecting with the South Sudanese diaspora in Australia.

Ladule Lako LoSarah
International Operations/Co-Founder

Son of a South Sudanese refugee father, Ladule understands the generation-changing power of education and sport. Fostering opportunities for youth via these avenues has become his life’s mission. After a career which took him to over 25 countries on 5 continents, including representing South Sudan for three years, Ladule hung up his boots in 2016, and is currently a soccer coach. For FSFA, he coordinates all international activities, including placing players in foreign universities and clubs, bringing international coaches and scouts to South Sudan, and building capacity for the project. Additionally, he advises the technical staff. Ladule graduated from Swarthmore College.

Christopher Szeto
Financial Officer

With years of experience and certification from the CFA Institute, Chris coordinates all financial activities for FSFA internationally. His passion for health and wellness encourages him to use sport for social change and positive community transformation. Chris was a member of the championship-winning team at Swarthmore College where he was a pre-med student who majored in Chinese. A world-traveler and culinary enthusiast, Chris is happiest moving his body and preparing nourishing meals.

International Advisory Board

Evan Nesterak

Founder of the online journal, Behavioral Scientist, Evan brings a wealth of communications and organizational skills to FSFA. He provides consultation to the international leadership. Evan was an All-Region standout soccer player at Swarthmore College where he studied psychology.

David Qasem

With over a decade’s worth of experience in telecommunications technology, Telnyx founder and CEO, David Qasem, is determined to use the power of tech to change lives. He provides technical consultation to FSFA’s international leadership. He graduated from Swarthmore College where he studied economics.

Eihab Daoud

Hailing from Sudan and a household name in Oregon youth soccer, Eihab understands the power soccer has to provide opportunities and transform lives. After having worked for the Portland Timbers FC of the MLS, Eihab is now focused on his project of bringing US college coaches to underrepresented parts of the world. He brings his deep connections and extensive experience to guide and advise FSFA’s international leadership.
